Severna Forest has a Waterfront / Pier Property!
The community’s waterfront property has a pier on Forked Creek right off the Severn River. Members can rent space, when available, for boats, kayaks, and canoes.
The waterfront/pier property has regular maintenance and landscaping by an external contractor, and users are encouraged to do their best to keep things cleaned up and to be courteous to our neighbors.
If interested in renting a kayak or canoe rack or boat slip, please contact SFCAPier@gmail.com for the rental contract. To ensure the continuation of rented spots every year, please stay up to date with the Membership dues and associated rental fees.
Did you Know? On June 6th, 2018, the then SFCA Board Members who all worked so hard for a few years to make the new pier a reality, came together to celebrate this accomplishment and christen the pier! A big thanks to: Linda Curry, Russ Anna, Vicki Thomas, Cush Weidorn, Dee Wieninger, Troy Davis, Christine Joyce, Lindsey Giblin, and Brittany Curry, Erin Brady, Greg Gustafson, John Judge, and Jeanette Sudano.
Note: Users of the waterfront/pier property will need to purchase a key, along with the Annual Membership dues and any kayak or boat slip rental fees.
